Our April Artist of the Month is Sandra Davis.

Sandra is a current member of WCADC and works with recycled paper and items that can be used as painting surfaces that we as consumers throw away.  Sandra first started working with paper in 1999 to create gifts for family members that were unique and economical.  The pieces grew from clowns and small portraits to more detailed and complex images.

WCADC Visit to the Glenstone Museum in Potomac, MD on May 17, 2014 at 2pm

We invite you to tour the Glenstone Museum in Potomac, MD on May 17, 2014 at 2 pm.

12002 Glen Rd, Potomac, MD 20854, Cross Roads: Between Greenbriar Rd and Hannibal Way.

The Glenstone Museum is a private museum in Potomac, MD housing a collection of contemporary art. For more information and visitor guidelines, see the website at http://www.glenstone.org/

The museum can only be visited by docent-led, pre-arranged tour groups of no more than 15 people. We cannot go through the museum individually. The maximum group size is 15.  Please RSVP to Marilyn Hayes at hayesarts@yahoo.com as soon as possible. The RSVP should include your email and phone number so if someone drops out you can be contacted.

Marilyn must give the museum a list of the names of everyone on the tour in advance – if your name is not on the list you will not be able to enter the gate at the road.

Please plan to arrive at the museum parking lot 15 minutes early (1:45). Tours begin promptly on the hour and typically last 60 to 90 minutes. We are reserving the time to tour as a group so we all need to arrive on time - carpooling may help with that.
