4th Annual Exhibition Fundraiser • March 8 - 23, 2014
The Target Gallery and the March of Dimes are teaming up to raise money for both organizations with our 4th annual exhibition fundraiser March150 (formerly titled "March Madness"). The show includes 200 panels of artwork created by local artists, each only $150 (and only $100 the night of the Art Party on March 14)

About Target Gallery & March150 
Target Gallery is the national exhibition space of the Torpedo Factory Art Center, a 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on enriching the enjoyment and understanding of the visual arts for our community. March150 is an exhibition fundraiser featuring 200 works of art on 10” panels created by local and regional artists, as well as 20 Torpedo Factory Artists. The artwork will be on display in the Target Gallery from March 8-23. All work will be for sale for $150 with 10% of all sales being donated to the March of Dimes. Panels will be on sale for $100 the night of the Art Party. Funds raised fromMarch150 will go toward the Target Gallery’s 2014-2015 outreach programs.

The Feminist Agenda


Call for Artists - Deadline:  April 14th, 2014

The woman’s role has changed drastically throughout history facilitating the evolution of Feminism and continuing to dismantle stereotypes and gender inequality. For this call we are asking you to embrace everything female! We want to see both new and classic depictions of female empowerment as well as the many different roles that women have played in our society.

Calls are open to all local, domestic, national and international professional and amateur artists. All art mediums will be considered in this call for submissions, from photography, wall sculpture, fabric, mixed media, all paintings and drawings including, oil, acrylic, pastels, ink, graphite, etc. Sizes up to 12 feet are acceptable. Work must be able to be hung on a wall to be considered for the live exhibition. Freestanding 3D artworks will be displayed online only. We are now accepting video and poetry entries for online shows.

Accepted entries for this online exhibition will be judged again in the coming months for a collective live exhibition at our Los Angeles gallery. The artists will be asked if they wish to submit their artwork for the collective exhibition, which is not a requirement to being a part of the online exhibition.

DEADLINE FOR THIS CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: Deadline April 14, 2014

Cost: $35 for 3 entries, $5 for additional entries.
