Jane Pettit is an artist who creates one-of-a-kind, contemporary fine art for homes, galleries and corporate environments. Her unique, award-winning style is a combination of sculpture, mosaic and collage. The synergy of intricate mosaic combined with larger pieces in asymmetrical forms defines her unique gestalt. Incorporating recycled materials and natural elements play a major role in her creative process. The influence of the abstract expressionists and the ART NOUVEAU style are evident in her work. Her outdoor sculpture and wall art are featured in area galleries, has won awards for originality and excellence and has illustrated the Capital Area Food Bank calendar. Numerous commissioned works are in private collections.
