Creative energy tumbling out through the art of WCA-DC members. Cornucopia showcases work depicting abundance in all its many manifestations.
Washington DC, June 8, 2016 - The Women's Caucus for Art - District of Columbia Chapter has issued a call for entries to artists to submit pieces for an all member show that opens on October 8, 2016 at the Wohlfarth Gallery in Washington DC. Artists are invited to submit up to three works of art (2 and 3D); at least one work by each artist will be selected for the show.
Curated by Lavinia Wohlfarth, Cornucopia is open to artists in all media. The show will hang from October 8-29, 2016 in the gallery at 3418 9th Street NE, Washington DC, conveniently located in the Brookland neighborhood. The opening reception is Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 4-7pm. Cornucopia will continue through October 29, 2016 with pick up on October 29, 2016.

Please use the following link http://www.entrythingy.com/d=wcadc.org#show=2938 Artists may submit up to 3 jpgs, 72dpi and at least 4" x 5", for consideration. The deadline for submissions is midnight on July 31, 2016. All artists will be notified by August 31, 2016 of work accepted. All accepted work must be wired and ready to hang. All sculpture must be moveable, 75lb. maximum weight. The artist must supply suitable pedestals. Upon acceptance there will be a $30 per artist entry fee. The commission for artwork sold in the gallery is 40% . Drop off for work is September 24, from noon until 3pm at the Wohlfarth Gallery, 3418 9th Street NE, Washington DC. To be exhibited, all members must be current on dues.
