Two very fun shows with my work in them are opening this weekend.  Both present out of the box challenges for me to have fun with.

SHOW #1: Every year I try something new for March150. Come see my bead and copper foil work!

6th Annual March150 Exhibition Fundraiser
Saturday, March 5 - Sunday, March 20
Target Gallery’s popular annual fundraising exhibition returns to raise money in support of the Gallery’s special exhibitions and programs.
This show features more than 170 square panels created by more than 100 artists. All work in the show is priced at $150, but during the Art Party on Friday, 3/18, work is priced at $100.

   All proceeds benefit Target Gallery.
March150 is a great time for new art collectors to buy their first original work and introduces more veteran collectors to new local artists. On view at The Torpedo Factory, 105 N Union Street, Alexandria, VA

SHOW#2: The Box Show also inspires me to try something new every year. My box this year is deconstructed, painterly and creates great shadow.

OPEN CALL FOR ART - INTIMATE SPACES

Dear Artists and Art Professionals,

The Alabama Women's Caucus for Art (ALWCA) is hosting a juried exhibition Intimate Spaces. We invite all artists from Alabama to submit small-scale works reflecting upon artistic and poetic imagination and how this relates to space, memory, and intimacy.

The ALWCA is a chapter of the national Women's Caucus for Art organization. The Women's Caucus for Art was established in 1972 with the mission to create community through art, education, and social activism.

Please consider entering your work and sharing our prospectus. Instructions for entry are included in the prospectus available as a downloadable PDF through our website: http://alwca.weebly.com/exhibitions.html.
