Artists make our communities great, and we want to thank you. Join the M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County as we celebrate the artists of Prince George's County. Find out about what we offer artists in our four arts centers, as well as across the County. And, meet the nearly 80 artists from our County who are showing in Artomatic right now!
Artists' recognition starts at 6:15, followed by a guest musical performance.

Carrie Mae Weems will discuss her belief in artists' social responsibility and her recent activist work, including social reform efforts and public art projects in her hometown of Syracuse, N.Y. During the second half of the talk, Weems will be joined by Robert Raben, president and founder The Raben Group, which produces the annual March on Washington Film Festival that uses the power of film, music, and the arts to share the important stories of the events and heros of the Civil Rights Era and inspire renewed passion for activism.
