Get energized, get moving, Artomatic 2015 is happening! It will run from October 30th - December 12th at 8100 Corporate Drive, Hyattsville MD right by the New Carrollton Metro Station. We are truly excited!
Anyone can participate in Artomatic - there are no criteria to register, and space is allocated on a first come, first served basis. Artomatic routinely attracts more than 70,000 visitors to see work by more than 700 artists, and more than 300 performances. Our presenting partner the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting Artomatic in a 90,000 sq ft building in Prince George's County.

On October 30, experience Mod Women (and Men), a retro late-night reception for the opening of NMWA's special exhibitionPathmakers: Women in Art, Craft, and Design, Midcentury and Today. Enjoy craft cocktails, dancing, and exhibition tours. Come dressed as your favorite "mod-ster" if you dare!
We hope to see you at the American Fine Craft Show at the DC Armory October 23–25, showcasing the works of over 195 artists from across the U.S. and Canada. A portion of the proceeds on opening day benefit NMWA.

WASHINGTON—The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) presents Pathmakers: Women in Art, Craft, and Design, Midcentury and Today, an exhibition that explores the lasting impact of women artists and designers on midcentury Modernism. On view Oct. 30, 2015–Feb. 28, 2016, the exhibition presents more than 80 objects including furniture, ceramics, textiles and jewelry. Reflecting the continuing popularity of midcentury design today, the exhibition also includes a selection of contemporary work that builds upon the accomplishments of an earlier generation.
