I will be showing my embroideries in "She Sews Her Stories," a solo show at nice things…handmade, with a reception on May 9 from 6-9, as part of the 2nd Saturday events that happen monthly on Passyunk Avenue. The event is family friendly.

Come see work by local artist, Bonnie MacAllister. Join us Saturday May 9th for 2nd Saturday on East Passyunk Avenue. Bonnie MacAllister creates textiles that tell global women's stories. She embroiders on handmade felt, silk from saris, and vintage Scottish wool. Bonnie will also have hand woven textiles and pillows. See some art meet the artist and grab a snack 6-9pm!

Earlier this years as part of an exhibit at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, a prestigious gallery and art center in Silver Spring, MD, I exhibited four pieces. I am proud to announce that three are now in a private collection.
The fourth piece, "Mother Nature" (bottom left) is now in the 103rd Members Medal show at the Plastic Club, the 3rd oldest art club in the United States and the only one founded by women artists, located at 247 S. Camac Street in Center City. We are having a reception for this historic exhibition on Sunday, May 3rd from 2-5: https://www.facebook.com/events/445522438944315/
